B. Freeman School of Business. The MarCom Specialist creates compelling written and editorial content for various Freeman channels. The MarCom Specialist writes alumni stories, class notes, faculty and student coverage pieces, admissions copy and communication and assists with the Freeman Business magazine and Freeman News story compilation and production. The MarCom Specialist assists in implementing marketing strategies to promote Freeman's programs, events and initiatives through various platforms. Additionally, the MarCom Specialist assists with administrative duties as needed, including invoice and PO processing, payment management, product and professional services ordering, as well as campus marketing and advertising with other schools.
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in English, marketing, communications, journalism, or related field. 3 years demonstrated relevant experience.
Preferred Qualification:
Strong understanding of managing and executing administrative Marketing duties, budget management and vendor payment management. Recent marketing and communications experience in an institution of higher education or a non-profit organization similar to higher education.
