Fall Communications Intern Description:
The Fall Communications Intern will support CultureHouse's digital storytelling through our , social media, and newsletter. The primary focus will be revising language on the for improved clarity, especially summaries of past projects. In addition, the Intern will refine CultureHouse's social media strategy and create content within that vision. Beyond these two major objectives, the Intern may support the CultureHouse team on other ongoingmunications-related projects and tasks, such as our regular newsletters and bi-annual fundraising campaigns. Qualifications:
Required qualifications: Legally authorized to work in the US Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, particularly translatingplex topics into accessible, succinct language Stronganization, attention to detail, and work ethic Comfortable taking initiative and working through problems/unknowns Comfortable collaborating with others and working through conflict Commitment to social justice Other preferred experience and qualifications: Background in journalism, publishing, marketing, public relations, or related field Familiarly with WordPress, social media platforms, and email campaign platforms Interest in urban design, urbanism, or placemaking Knowledge of DEI frameworks and culturalpetency Passion for grassroots progressive political change and shifting power to underrepresentedmunities
