Location of Workplace Main UNCW Campus Brief Summary of Work for this Position The MarineQuest Registration, Marketing, & Communications Associate oversees participant registration, marketing strategy, and program assessment tools for MarineQuest, and supports MarineQuest as a team member with a unique skill set. The primary role of this position is to serve as the technical administrator for the online registration system, manage daily customer operations, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns. Year-round responsibilities include managing website content and SEO , developing targeted promotional strategies informed by market research, collaborating with university partners like the Watson College of Education, and administering survey tools to support continuous program improvement as relates to registration. As a year-round member of the MarineQuest team, this position is expected to: Practice open communication with the MarineQuest team. Serve as a positive role model for staff and students, displaying maturity, responsibility, flexibility, and sound judgment. Be knowledgeable in the MarineQuest program mission, program organization, and Minors' policy. Maintain alignment with university branding standards and institutional priorities across all promotional materials. Safeguard participant data and ensure secure, accurate processing of registration and survey information. Collaborate cross-functionally with MarineQuest team and campus units. Provide a professional, responsive, and positive experience for program participants and families. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Preferred education, professional skills and experience Website development (using Cascade, Wordpress or Wix programs) and management (search engine optimization and site mapping) Proficiency with Adobe Professional software and Microsoft Office (particularly excel database) Proficiency with graphics manipulation software Ability to take quality digital photos Some html coding experience for creating email blasts using MailChimp or similar program Familiarity with survey creations through Qualtrics, Google docs or similar tools Required Certifications or licensure Valid NC driver's licenseFTE 1.0 FTE
