Morris County Salary:
$72,446 per year Employment type: Full-time Job Description Configure, analyze, and provide technical support for wireless network systems, including GSM, UMTS, and LTE technologies. Perform BTS/eNodeB commissioning, integration, troubleshooting, and testing. Update software levels to required standards. Prepare and modify base station scripts in accordance with Operating Support System requirements and prepare OSS health-check documentation and reports. Support senior technical staff in diagnosing equipment failures and selecting appropriate repair methods. Identify, evaluate, and diagnose mechanical and network problems to determine corrective action. Report findings and recommend equipment changes to improve network efficiency, promote safe system operation, and prevent future service interruptions. Perform system upgrades, troubleshooting, network configuration, operations, and user support. Provide software development support, requirements gathering, quality assurance, and validation. Propose new installation points and use measuring equipment to test lines and record data, including return loss, distance to fault, fiber-optic power levels, gain, and dispersion, before and after installation. Perform First Responder Network Passive Intermodulation analysis for high uplink signal-pollution cases. Conduct design-verification and consistency checks to ensure that site-isolation standards satisfy FNET criteria. Generate and upgrade scripts according to FNET requirements. Create and verify Remote Electrical Tilt configuration scripts for different RET models. Conduct radio network parameter-change impact analysis on Key Performance Indicators. Analyze call traces and exceptions to troubleshoot problematic sites. Perform pre- and post-implementation KPI monitoring and prepare customer reports. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Minimum Experience Twelve months of experience in telecommunications network systems, including configuration and support of GSM, UMTS, and/or LTE systems.

None Special requirements: None Supervisory responsibilities: None Travel Travel is required throughout the eastern and central United States, including, but not limited to, the New York tri-state area and Texas. Travel will be to various client cell sites, commercial buildings, and wireless infrastructure project locations.
