Communication Specialist, College of Engineering Technology, RIT Rochester Institute of Technology - 4.2 Rochester, NY Job Details Full-time $26 - $29 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Newsletters (communication methods) Full Job Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities Creates and delivers internal communications content, including intranet, newsletters, and digital signage Works with key organizational stakeholders to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company's goals and values Monitors and measures the effectiveness of internal communications, and recommends improvements based on feedback and data analysis Supports change management efforts through clear and timely communications Maintains internal communication tools, ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with strategic goals Assists with crisis communications Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of best practices for internal communications Knowledge of internal communications tools such as email management software and intranet Skill in written communication and editing Skill in project management Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization Ability to meet multiple deadlines Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in related field 4 years of relevant experience Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered The CET Communication Specialist supports strategic marketing, enrollment, and communication efforts focused on student recruitment, retention, and college communications. Acting as a liaison among CET academic departments and RIT's enrollment management and central marketing teams, the Specialist ensures cohesive messaging and manages college communications and content development. This position will also coordinate all details around prospective student visits with CET academic departments. Experience with digital communication methods, social media, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
