Stewardship & Communications Coordinator Full Time Portland, OR Posted 2 weeks ago Ronald McDonald House Oregon Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Stewardship & Communications Coordinator to support our stewardship efforts for individual donors. This role contributes to donor retention, personalized stewardship, and connecting supporters to the mission through storytelling. Working closely with the Portland-based Engagement Team, the Stewardship & Communications Coordinator helps maintain a strong base of loyal donors and supports meaningful donor engagement, social media, and communications. Primary Responsibilities Storytelling & Social Media Management Manage all Ronald McDonald House Oregon social channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn. Create posts that align with our social media strategy and respond to comments and messages. (

this does not include Bend or Springfield pages) Write and help manage our monthly donor newsletter and Portland-specific regional quarterly newsletter, using narrative to strengthen emotional connection and inspire donor loyalty. Source and curate compelling stories that reflect the impact of our work. Collaborate with program staff to highlight authentic voices and lived experiences of our guest families. Capture photo and video content within our Houses to share with key stakeholders and our social community. Stewardship & Communicating with our Donors Under the guidance of the Director of Engagement, serve as the stewardship manager for individual donors at or below $1,000 (Grand Givers) in Portland to foster long-term retention and identify upgrade potential. Implement donor stewardship activities including renewals, recognition, touchpoints, and local engagement opportunities. Help establish a Grand Givers Society in Portland and facilitate the first Grand Givers Event. In collaboration with leadership, execute monthly recurring donor campaigns. Create personalized donor touchpoints including handwritten notes, local impact updates, and small-scale engagement opportunities. Other Duties as Assigned Assist with communications, donor experience and engagement around signature events. This includes Portland Golf Classic and Hope-Raiser Gala. Support our two annual giving society events, Tanner Society and Circle of Giving. Look for opportunities to improve our Ronald McDonald House Oregon communications and engagement based on trends, gaps and community feedback. Support Portland Engagement Team activities and events as needed. This may include networking events, tours, meetings, and event support. Requirements Experience Required 1-3 years of nonprofit experience, preferably in donor relations, stewardship, or marketing/communications. Experience supporting gift officers or executive leaders in donor-facing work is strongly preferred. Skills & Attributes Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, professional demeanor. Attentive to detail with solid follow-through and organizational skills. Familiarity with donor database/CRM systems (Raiser's Edge preferred), email marketing tools, social media management, and Canva. Collaborative team player who thrives in a mission-driven culture. Ability to manage multiple priorities with accountability and discretion. Work Environment Primarily office-based in Portland, OR with local travel required for meetings and community visibility. Must be able to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds Must have a valid driver's license
