This position supports resident engagement, communication, and select administrative functions. The role is responsible for developing/designing clear, accurate, and engaging communication materials, assisting with coordination of resident services and activities, and supporting day-to-day operational tasks that enhance quality of life for residents. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability in a regulated affordable housing environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Resident Communications & Engagement Develop and design the monthly resident newsletter with a high level of accuracy and clarity Manage and update resident communication platforms (e.g., digital message boards) Create flyers, announcements, and promotional materials for resident programs and services Support clear communication practices recognizing the needs of a senior population Program & Event Coordination Assist with planning, organizing, and promoting resident activities and events, if needed Coordinate logistics for internal programs, including scheduling, materials, and communication Provide occasional on-site support during events, if needed Administrative & Operational Support Coordinating housekeeping services for residents, including scheduling and communication Support general administrative functions as assigned by leadership Assist with special projects that support operational efficiency and resident satisfaction Technology & Systems Management Utilize software programs such as Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, and communication platforms Leverage AI tools and other technologies to improve efficiency and quality of work Learn and adapt to new systems, including property management or communication software as needed ________________________________________ Qualifications Required Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Experience with design tools such as Canva or similar platforms Strong organizational and time management skills Comfort working in a senior housing or service-oriented environment Preferred Experience with senior services and community-based programs Familiarity with HUD or regulated housing environments Experience with digital communication platforms or content management systems Experience using AI tools to support workflow and productivity ________________________________________ Schedule & Compensation Part-Time Position (20 hours per week; flexible scheduling based on operational needs) Hourly rate Cell phone allowance provided ________________________________________ Working Conditions On-site in a senior residential community Combination of administrative work and resident interaction Occasional evening or event-related hours may be required ________________________________________
