Join Our Team Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, the historic cathedral church of the Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida, is seeking a creative, organized, and energetic Communications & Marketing Specialist to help share the Cathedral's story with the wider community. This position is ideal for an autonomous self-starter who is passionate about communications, marketing, storytelling, and visual design, and who enjoys working in a highly flexible, collaborative, mission-driven environment. The Communications & Marketing Specialist will operate with a high degree of creative freedom playing a key role in expanding Trinity Cathedral's visibility, strengthening community engagement, and communicating the core mission, values, life and ministry of the Cathedral through both digital and print media. Primary Responsibilities Act as the creative lead to spearhead new digital strategies that increase community engagement and expand Trinity Cathedral's public presence. Dynamically manage and prioritize high-impact storytelling to maximize a part-term schedule. Strengthen Trinity Cathedral's brand, messaging, and visual identity across digital, print, and public-facing communications. Develop integrated communications campaigns that connect the Cathedral's mission, historic legacy, worship, outreach ministries, events, and community impact with the wider Miami community. Plan and produce engaging content across social media, email, website, newsletters, press releases, promotional materials, photography, and short-form video. Design polished print and digital materials—including flyers, posters, brochures, banners, postcards, event programs, and invitations—that support ministries, events, and outreach. Coordinate with clergy and staff to communicate upcoming events, ministry opportunities, media needs, and other priority communications projects. Qualifications Degree or professional portfolio in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in communications, marketing, social media management, or a related field, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English and Spanish required. Strong experience creating social media, email, web, print, photography, and short-form video content. Proficiency with design and communications tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, website content management systems, and email marketing tools. Organized, creative, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines. Experience with nonprofit, church, educational, or arts organizations preferred. Compensation and Benefits Part-time position (20 hours per week) $500 / week and up depending on qualifications and experience.
