Position Description:
Internal communications shape our employee experience. Quality is critical to project a unified corporate voice and align employees with firm objectives. Marketing professionals bring value through their ability to convey information through written and visual content that is easy to understand, concise, and relevant to the intended audience. Wade Trim is looking for a Communications Specialist to join our team to support company-wide internal communication efforts.
Typical responsibilities include:
Assess quality, variety, and frequency of existing internal communications and channels. Define clear protocols for message frequency, channels, and ownership to avoid duplication and noise. Review and edit company-wide communications from C-Suite, Corporate Directors, and select managers to improve quality and consistency. Review and edit corporate announcements and company news for intranet to improve quality. Project a unified corporate voice. Support senior leadership in developing, implementing, and monitoring internal communications strategies. Review internal presentation content and visuals as needed. Support employee engagement and foster a positive, cohesive culture. Maintain a safe working environment.
Education:
Bachelor of Arts degree in
English, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing Skills/Experience:
5-10 years of professional experience in internal, executive, or corporate communications Strong writing, editing, and communications skills Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams Please include a cover letter with your resume
