Offers are based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to: relevant skills, training, experience, and education. In addition to base pay and a comprehensive benefits package, other variable compensation, such as an annual bonus or commission is offered. The Data Communications Specialist supports Numerator's data science and analytics teams with clients and internal stakeholders. This role is responsible for drafting and editing communication around complex data concepts—such as calibration, monitoring, and data quality triage— so that we have clear, accurate, and actionable communications. The specialist works with Data Communications and Consulting to determine what information is necessary, for whom, and when, ensuring the right level of detail is delivered without losing precision or trust.
How You'll Spend Your Time:
Identify and communicate data issues, anomalies, and workflow changes. Partner with data science and engineering teams on monitoring and triage. Create clear documentation of data methodologies, quality checks, and processes. Translate complex data into client-ready insights and presentations. Recommend effective communication strategies based on audience needs. Clarify data definitions, limitations, and best practices for internal teams. Develop training materials and documentation to improve data fluency. Create clear visual and verbal data narratives with technical accuracy. Maintain consistency across communication materials and presentations. Enhance Numerator's internal data communication AI agent to drive efficiency. What You'll Bring to Numerator What You'll Bring toNumerator:
2-3 years of experience in data communications, analytics, data science, consulting, or a related field. Experience working with syndicated data, consumer data, or large-scale datasets.. Strong Analytical acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to articulate technical topics to a non-technical audience. Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data validation). Basic SQL skills are a strong plus. Experience working with data visualization or presentation tools preferred.What We Offer:
