This role coordinates and produces written communications for development initiatives, including grants, donor appeals, newsletter content, and impact stories. The Coordinator assists with planning and promoting special events, managing event-related materials, and ensuring consistent messaging across print and digital platforms. Daily tasks include drafting copy, planning/creating social media content, updating donor and event information, collaborating with development and marketing staff, and maintaining timelines for campaigns and events. The position contributes to clear, compelling communication that strengthens relationships with donors, partners, and the community. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including the ability to tailor messages for donors, partners, and internal stakeholders. Event Planning experience, with the ability to coordinate logistics, timelines, and promotional materials for development events. Demonstrated Writing skills, including drafting donor appeals, grants, newsletters, and other development-focused content. Experience creating Press Releases and related media materials to support fundraising campaigns and special events. Experience with social media strategy and content creation over several platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. Strategic Communications skills, with the ability to align messaging with organizational branding and fundraising goals. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Comfort working on-site in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and interacting professionally with donors and community members. Proficiency with standard office software and basic familiarity with email marketing or CRM tools; experience in arts or nonprofit settings is a plus. Relevant education or training in communications, marketing, public relations, arts administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
