4-Day Workweek • Hybrid Position • Make a Difference in Your Community Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) is seeking a creative, organized, and mission-driven Marketing & Communications Specialist to help tell our story and promote the programs and services that make a difference throughout Jefferson and Franklin Counties.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Starting Pay:
$20.70 per hour Higher starting pay may be considered based on education and relevant experience Full-Time, Exempt Position 36-Hour Workweek 4-Day Workweek with Fridays Off Hybrid Work Environment Comprehensive Benefits Package Including Health Insurance, Paid Leave, and Retirement Plans
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Create marketing materials, social media graphics, flyers, brochures, presentations, and promotional content. Write engaging content for social media, newsletters, and promotional campaigns. Capture and edit photos and videos highlighting agency programs, events, and community impact. Manage JFCAC social media platforms and digital presence. Assist with website updates, email marketing, and outreach efforts. Support agency events and community engagement activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience. One to three years of experience in marketing, communications, or social media management. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
PREFERRED
Nonprofit, public sector, or community-based experience. Photography and video editing skills. Experience with website management and email marketing platforms.
