This is a fast-paced, multifaceted opportunity for a candidate who takes initiative and wants to work hard while gaining unparalleled knowledge, experience, and growth. Job Purpose Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Social Media and PR Senior Coordinator manages Rally's daily social media footprint and execution of public relations efforts. This role serves as an integral part of the Marketing team, collaborating with internal staff, extension city locations, and external PR stakeholders to educate, inform, and motivate our audience while driving engagement and fundraising goals. Primary Responsibilities Social Media & Digital Marketing Execution Focus on growing Rally's national footprint and building Rally's digital presence across all channels. Develop online content through a variety of multimedia platforms including social media, email, website, and other digital media. This includes designing graphics in Canva, editing video assets via CapCut, or other relevant software and writing platform-specific copy. Execute fundraising and engagement strategies on all digital marketing platforms including email marketing and social media (includes Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, and Threads). Proactively solicit, acquire, and manage user-generated content from Rally Kids, families, volunteers, and event participants to tell authentic, mission-driven stories across digital channels. Research and implement best practices for email marketing, social media, SEO, and SEM with the goal of fundraising and community engagement. Maintain high-quality consistent branding across all digital and print communication channels. Serve as communications partner for other departments and engage long-term strategic objectives including oversight and execution of a comprehensive communications calendar in Monday.com Public Relations & Media Relations Coordinate closely with Rally's external PR consultant and designated Board of Directors PR professionals to align media planning, outreach, and large-scale event coverage. Draft and distribute media alerts and press releases to pitch signature events, community fundraisers, Rally Kid stories, and advocacy efforts to regional and national media outlets. Maintain and update the digital Press Room, ensuring structured backups of all press releases, media alerts, and media lists are filed systematically in shared folders. Store all media and press contacts within Salesforce, systematically logging outreach activities and tracking long-term relationships. Analytics, Testing, and Budgeting Develop assessment and evaluation strategies to determine effectiveness and adjust as necessary. Prepare reports and analytics on the overall performance of various digital campaigns, including ROIs and KPIs. Plan, execute, and measure A/B testing and make recommendations based on results to optimize digital traffic and donation conversions. Actively monitor digital campaign budgets to maximize resources and advertising impact. Provide digital marketing support for Rally events, campaigns, and projects as assigned by leadership. Experience with fundraising and campaign management is a plus. Proven track record of digital campaigns for raising awareness and funds from individuals by increasing digital traffic, engagement, and donations. Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Salesforce and Mailchimp a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing environments and priorities. Strong interpersonal, organizational, networking, facilitation, and management skills; work both independently and within a team-oriented structure. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking, negotiations, and effective communication with diverse audiences, including the ability to speak persuasively. Internet research savvy. Experience in marketing database, email, social media, websites, PPC and/or display advertising campaigns is a plus. Willingness to learn and develop in these areas is a requirement. Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments is a plus. Knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other ad platforms is a plus. Working knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g. Meltwater, Digimind, Later, native platform tools including LinkedIn and Twitter). Exercise good judgment and decision making. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to reason, think creatively, and problem solve. Position requires absolute confidentiality and professionalism in appearance, attitude, and presentation. A self-starter with the ability to work productively and meet benchmarks and goals timely and without day-to-day supervision. Database management and computer literacy (Microsoft Office). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Available minimum of 40 hours a week. Ability to work some nights and weekends and events as assigned. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation, in support of events, program supplies, and deliveries. This includes tasks such as loading/unloading materials and setting up/taking down event equipment. Ability to stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
