Job Description

We are looking for a skilled PR/Media Relations Specialist to support a leading healthcare organization. This permanent role focuses on building media visibility, shaping compelling stories, and strengthening the public profile of physicians and the broader network. The position also plays a key part in handling sensitive communications matters with sound judgment and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute media outreach strategies that generate meaningful press attention for organizational priorities and initiatives.
  • Write press materials, statements, and other communications that clearly convey complex healthcare topics to external audiences.
  • Strengthen physician visibility by identifying thought leadership opportunities and positioning subject matter experts in relevant media conversations.
  • Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with reporters, editors, and other media contacts to support ongoing coverage opportunities.
  • Manage both planned and time-sensitive public communications efforts, including responses to issues that require careful coordination and messaging.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather information, shape narratives, and ensure communications align with organizational goals.
  • Monitor media activity and evaluate coverage results to refine outreach efforts and improve future campaign performance.
