Job Description
Intern Program Details:
- Paid Internship
- Full time / 10 weeks
- Position will be based out of Texas, Georgia, or Virginia
- The internship program provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching
- Experiential learning and training provided by exposure to subject matter experts Job Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, editing and proofreading a variety of communications materials, including internal announcements, press releases, website content, social media posts, presentations, etc.
- Support the planning and execution of internal and external communication campaigns and events.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities and media coverage to inform communications strategies.
- Manage and update content on internal communication platforms and external digital channels.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather information and ensure consistent messaging.
- Assist with media monitoring and reporting on communications effectiveness.
- Provide general administrative support to the Communications team as needed. Job Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Prior internship experience in communications or a related field is a plus.
