In this early career Communications Specialist job, you will play a key role in supporting internal communications strategies that drive engagement, alignment, and understanding across the organization. You'll collaborate with team members and stakeholders to craft compelling messages, develop creative content, and execute communication plans that support leadership initiatives, organizational change, and functional priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and execution of internal communication strategies and plans that align with enterprise goals and priorities. Create and publish engaging content for a variety of channels, including emails, newsletters, presentations, intranet articles, etc. Support leadership communications by drafting talking points, presentations, and other materials that amplify key messages. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure message consistency and alignment with internal communications approach across the organization. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication efforts, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Stay current on industry trends and best practices to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the team. Required Education, Experience, & Skills What we're looking for: A passion for communication and a talent for crafting clear, compelling messages. Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail. A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn and grow as part of a supportive team. A bachelor's degree is required, with a related major (e.g., communications, public relations, marketing) preferred but not required. Proven experience with digital platforms and channels (e.g. intranet, Microsoft 365, Slack/Teams, SharePoint). Strong desire to enrich the work/life experience of the people of BAE Systems with compelling content and informative communications. $67406 - $114590 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
