Job Description
- Coordinate directly with PR teams at partner organizations as well as internal stakeholders to draft media pitches to drive positive media coverage
- Support broader Partner PR team to execute media campaigns or partner announcements
- Review, edit, and provide feedback to ensure accurate positioning of AWS in third-party press releases
- Develop and foster relationships with key media and industry influencers
- Develop briefing materials, prep spokespersons, and facilitate media interviews
- Regularly review and digest industry media coverage
- Aid in tracking and delivering results to internal stakeholders
- Develop, draft, and manage executive social media content for senior AWS leaders in partnership with the executive communications team
- Collaborate with partner marketing to align social media messaging with broader campaign narratives and partner go-to-market motions
- Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to amplify partner stories, AI innovation, and joint customer success through executive channels
- Coordinate cross-functional content calendars across PR, executive social, and partner marketing to ensure cohesive storytelling
- Flag and escalate high-impact partner social posts to AWS executives for engagement and amplification
- Track and report on executive social media performance metrics, providing insights to optimize content strategy Key job responsibilities
- Develop and drive proactive media strategy for the AWS partner portfolio and AWS Marketplace — identifying stories, building narratives, and securing meaningful coverage in technology trade, business, and AI/cloud media
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key technology and business reporters, editors, podcasters, and influencers who cover cloud, AI, enterprise software, and the partner/platform network
- Serve as a skilled storyteller and writer — authoring press releases, media pitches, bylines, talking points, Q&A documents, and thought leadership content that translates technical depth into clear, compelling narratives
- Partner directly with partner marketing and executive communications teams to develop news moments, launch strategies, and thought leadership programs that elevate both the partner and AWS
- Shape and execute Marketplace-specific communications programs — driving awareness of AWS Marketplace capabilities, customer and partner success stories, and strategic differentiators
- Support executive thought leadership, preparing spokespeople for media interviews, developing briefing materials, and identifying opportunities for AWS and partner leaders to contribute to industry conversations Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience Preferred Qualifications

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
