Outreach Communications Intern:
The goal of case management services is to work with clients to help them attain a greater degree of self-sufficiency and overall improvement in their lives. This internship is designed to complement your academic coursework by providing the chance to learn communication skills, quick thinking, and finding resources within the community. All while being supported along the way.
What You Will Do:
Answer phones and respond to inquiries from individuals seeking outreach case management services Provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals experiencing challenges by actively listening, assessing needs, and helping connect them with appropriate community resources and services Conduct research on community resources and maintain up to date information to support clients effectively Elevate your communication and resource research skills
Requirements:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in social work or related field Junior or senior standing is preferred, prior experience in customer service or social work internship is a plus
Commitment Details:
Internship duration of a one semester placement Expected availability: At least 10 hours per week during office hours (Flexible availability Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM).
Start Date:
Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
