Job Description

Amerisleep is hiring a junior social media content coordinator to help create, organize, and publish content for our social channels. This role is best for someone who likes social media, short-form video, captions, hooks, content calendars, and using AI tools to work faster. You do not need to be an AI expert, but you should already be comfortable using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Canva, CapCut, or similar tools to draft ideas, organize content, and improve your work. You will help turn approved ideas, product information, reviews, videos, and brand notes into social posts, captions, short-form video concepts, Pinterest content, YouTube Shorts titles, and basic posting notes. What You Will Do Write social captions, hooks, post ideas, and short-form video concepts. Help create content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and other social channels. Use AI tools to brainstorm, outline, rewrite, summarize, and organize content. Clean up video transcripts and turn them into captions, titles, descriptions, and posting notes. Help maintain content calendars, trackers, folders, and posting checklists. Pull source material from approved product pages, reviews, videos, briefs, and internal notes. Check AI-generated content against the source before anything moves forward. Flag missing details, unclear instructions, broken links, risky claims, or content that needs review. What We Are Looking For 1 to 3 years of content, social media, marketing, ecommerce, or related experience. Strong writing and editing skills. Good judgment with facts, claims, product details, prices, reviews, and brand voice. Comfort using AI tools to speed up content work. Comfort with tools like Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Slack, Gmail, Canva, CapCut, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, or YouTube Studio. Basic understanding of social media content, short-form video, hooks, captions, and content calendars. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple small content tasks at once. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. What This Role Is Not This is not a senior strategy role or a pure long-form writing role. It is a hands-on social content role for someone who can help the team create, organize, polish, and QA content every week. Pay Pay is DOE based on experience, speed, accuracy, and tool fluency. We may start with a paid trial project. If the trial goes well, this can become ongoing part-time or full-time work. Application Questions What social media platforms have you created content for? What AI tools do you use most often? How do you check AI-generated content before using it? What tools have you used for captions, video, design, scheduling, or content calendars? What is your weekly availability? What is your expected pay?
