This is a high-impact, founder-facing role for someone who understands that great ad content isn't produced — it's felt. The brand has a loyal, passionate community and a strong e-commerce presence, and they're ready to scale their paid content engine with the right creative hire. The Role The Paid & Direct Response Content Creator will own the ideation, production, and performance of ad creative across Meta and TikTok. You'll work directly with the founder to develop content that drives real results — hooks that stop the scroll, formats that build trust, and CTAs that convert. This is not a managed, multi-layered corporate role. You'll have direct access to leadership and direct impact on the brand's growth. Responsibilities Paid & Direct Response Content Concept, shoot, and edit ad-first video content — hooks, testimonials, demos, before/afters, and problem/solution formats — built to convert Appear on camera as a relatable, authentic face of the brand in paid creative Write direct response copy including hooks, headlines, captions, and CTAs that drive clicks and purchases Partner with the founder to align creative with campaign goals, active offers, and performance KPIs Treat every piece of content as a test — analyze what's working, iterate fast, and apply learnings Stay current on Meta, TikTok, and YouTube ad formats, creative trends, and best practices Organic Social & Community Content Create community-first content that feels real and resonates — not over-produced or overly branded Manage day-to-day posting across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube with a consistent, relatable voice Identify top-performing organic content and repurpose it as paid ad creative Monitor comments and community sentiment; surface insights to leadership regularly Creator & UGC Support Support outreach and management of UGC creators and gifting partnerships Brief creators with clear direct response objectives, not just aesthetic direction Track content performance by creator and format to identify what's worth scaling Ideal Candidate You understand direct response — you know what makes someone stop, watch, and buy You're natural and confident on camera: real, likable, and comfortable without a script You think in hooks — the first 2 seconds of every piece of content matters more than anything else to you You move fast, take ownership, and don't need multiple layers of approval to get things done You understand the beauty consumer deeply and know how to speak to real women authentically You're as comfortable with performance data as you are with creative ideation Requirements 2+ years of experience in content creation, paid social, or performance marketing Experience in beauty, personal care, or consumer e-commerce strongly preferred Proven track record creating direct response content that performs on Meta and/or TikTok Comfortable and experienced being on camera in both ad and brand content Strong video shooting and editing skills; CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager a strong plus Solid copywriting instincts — especially hooks, CTAs, and short-form persuasion Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple content streams simultaneously Bachelor's degree preferred; portfolio and results matter more
Compensation & Details Salary:
$80,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experienceLocation:
