OVERVIEW

BMWC is an industrial construction company seeking a Content & Media Specialist to join the Marketing Team . This key role supports the creation of engaging content and media that connects with a variety of audiences, including clients, prospective employees, and interns. The Content & Media Specialist assists in developing visual and written content for social media, websites, newsletters, and other communication channels while supporting a consistent brand presence across the company. This position also contributes to the production of graphics, video, photography, and other multimedia assets. As part of a collaborative team reporting to an experienced marketing leader, this role regularly partners with project teams, safety, quality, and other departments to support proposals, client presentations, recruiting efforts, and company communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Content & Media Specialist, you will: Support BMWC's corporate marketing plan through content creation, media support, and internal and external communications. Create and manage visual and written content for social media, websites, newsletters, proposals, presentations, and other company materials. Help maintain BMWC's brand consistency and visibility across digital, print, multimedia, merchandise, and event-related materials. Coordinate photography, videography, graphics, and other multimedia assets for a variety of audiences and business needs, including job site content capture. Maintain marketing resources, including the website, SharePoint documents, photo library, and other branded materials. Track social media and content performance metrics and assist with reporting. Support project pursuits, business development efforts, award submissions, and customer experience initiatives through proposals, qualification packages, client surveys, and related marketing deliverables. Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support company campaigns, communications, recruiting efforts, and client-facing materials.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred. Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in related fields such as marketing, social media, content creation, videography, or photography. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to work effectively across departments. Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail when creating marketing materials and content. Experience with photography or videography is preferred. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar design and video editing tools is beneficial. Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, including Power Automate, Viva Engage, and other productivity applications, is a plus.
