Freelance Content Creator Description:
John Kind Studios is seeking freelance Content Creators to join the JKS Production Network for future social, digital, branded, educational, promotional, and campaign assignments. Content Creators transform approved ideas and creative briefs into engaging platform-ready content. Assignments may include short-form concepts, social-first content, simple project-specific capture, behind-the-scenes material, personality-driven content, on-camera material, promotional assets, and other digital storytelling. Some assignments may be remote using supplied assets, while others may require in-person work throughout Eastern Massachusetts. Content Creator is treated separately from professional videography, photography, advanced video editing, graphic design, Social Media Management, and Creative Direction. When those disciplines are required, JKS activates them separately. This is a project-based independent contractor opportunity. Network placement does not guarantee hours, assignments, ie, or exclusivity. Each assignment is activated through a JKS Project Snapshot.
Qualifications:
Strong candidates should demonstrate:
  • Examples of social or digital content
  • Understanding of short-form and platform-native storytelling
  • Strong visual judgment
  • Ability to work from a creative brief
  • Reliable turnaround and deadline management
  • Comfort receiving direction and collaborating with other creatives
  • Professionalmunication, responsiveness, and follow-through
