Background The Olney Cropdusters are based in Olney, Maryland, and are a member of the Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League, one of the premier collegiate summer baseball leagues in the country. The team plays at First Responders field at Servpro Stadium in Olney MD and is a proud staple of the local community. Job Summary This intern will manage the digital presence of the Cropdusters. You will keep fans engaged online, write compelling game recaps, and work closely with our creative team to showcase the team across all digital platforms. Essential Functions Live tweet during games to keep fans updated on the action Post daily or weekly game recaps and articles on the team website Work closely with the Graphic Design Intern and Photographer to post photos and graphics across all platforms Create engaging promotional content for TikTok and other social media outlets Help organize team events and host a media day for the players Use your own camera to capture moments when the team photographer is unavailable Assist other departments when requested or needed Must have housing for the summer.
