Job Description
We are a growing multi-brand automotive group in Raleigh looking for a full-time Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator. Our businesses include custom vehicle builds, hot rods, performance projects, general automotive repair, and transmission repair. You will have access to visually strong content every day—from custom fabrication and classic cars to major mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and behind-the-scenes shop activity. This is not a remote marketing job. You will be inside active automotive shops filming, editing, posting, and turning daily work into content that builds attention, trust, and customer demand. We need a producer—not someone who waits for the owner to hand them every idea. What You Will Create Content may include: Custom vehicle builds Hot rods and classic cars Performance upgrades Fabrication and restoration work Engine and transmission projects Before-and-after transformations Technician features Repair education Vehicle inspections Common automotive problems Shop culture and behind-the-scenes content Customer vehicle stories Completed project reveals The custom and hot-rod work provides strong visual content, but this role supports all three businesses within the automotive group. What You Will Do Film vehicles, technicians, repairs, custom builds, fabrication, inspections, and daily shop activity Produce short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Edit videos quickly with captions, music, graphics, and strong opening hooks Take professional photos of vehicles, projects, technicians, and completed work Write clear captions that educate customers and create interest Maintain separate content plans for multiple automotive brands Keep each brand's voice, audience, and content organized Schedule and publish content consistently Turn one vehicle or repair into multiple pieces of usable content Identify strong content opportunities without waiting for constant direction Build and maintain an organized photo and video library Track views, reach, engagement, follower growth, messages, and customer inquiries Provide a simple weekly report showing what was created, posted, and learned What We Are Looking For Proven experience filming and editing short-form content A portfolio showing work you personally created Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Ability to make automotive work look interesting, understandable, and valuable Comfortable filming in active, noisy, fast-moving shop environments Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar tools Strong writing, spelling, and caption-writing skills Comfortable approaching technicians and directing people on camera Able to manage multiple brands without becoming disorganized Able to work independently and meet deadlines Willing to learn automotive terminology Able to move quickly from idea to published content Automotive knowledge is helpful but not required. Genuine interest in cars, custom builds, hot rods, or automotive culture is strongly preferred.
