Content Creator (Contract) Invite to Church | Oklahoma City, OK Contract | $20/hour About Invite to Church Invite to Church is a nonprofit organization with a simple but powerful mission: invite people to church. As we prepare for our Run Across America beginning in March 2027, we'll be partnering with churches across the country to encourage community, faith, and connection. Along the journey, we'll visit churches across the country, share powerful stories, and build excitement around the movement through engaging social media content. We're looking for a creative, mission-driven content creator to help tell this story and inspire others to get involved. What You'll Do Create and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, and Facebook Post 1-3 times per day using a mix of videos, photos, reels, and stories Capture content throughout the campaign in and around Oklahoma City leading up the run across America Edit short-form videos, reels, interviews, and other social media content that encourages people to participate in the run Attend our monthly 10K runs to capture content and interview participants Develop creative content ideas that encourage people to invite others to church Highlight churches, volunteers, and community members involved in the movement Help grow awareness leading up to and during the Run Across America in March 2027 Be on-site during the cross-country run to capture daily content and tell the story as it unfolds Who You Are You do not have to be a runner- or even someone who has spent their life in church. What matters most is that you believe in the power of bringing people together, enjoy telling meaningful stories, and are excited to help spread a positive message.

The ideal candidate is:

1-2 years of experience creating content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Based in or near Oklahoma City , as this role requires capturing content in person Be able to travel in March, 2027 for the Run Across America Flexible and willing to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional late nights depending on event and run schedules. Excited about encouraging people to invite others to church Passionate about serving others Creative and takes initiative to come up with original, thoughtful, and curated content Comfortable filming and interviewing behind the camera Skilled at editing engaging short-form content for social media. Organized and able to keep up with a consistent posting schedule. Flexible and willing to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional late nights depending on event and run schedules. Passionate about serving others and helping people feel welcomed into a church community.
