Reports To:
Executive Director Position Summary We are seeking a creative, dependable, and organized Part-Time Content Creator to help develop engaging content that highlights our organization's programs, services, events, and impact. The ideal candidate is comfortable creating social media posts, taking photographs and videos, designing promotional materials, and telling meaningful stories through digital content. Key Responsibilities Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms. Photograph and record programs, activities, special events, staff, and community engagement. Edit photographs and short-form videos for social media and promotional use. Design flyers, graphics, announcements, and other marketing materials. Write captions, event descriptions, promotional posts, and other short-form content. Maintain a consistent brand voice, appearance, and message across all platforms. Develop and maintain a social media content calendar. Schedule and publish content regularly. Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement. Work with staff to identify upcoming events, success stories, and important announcements. Obtain proper approval before posting photographs, videos, or confidential information. Track social media performance and recommend ways to improve engagement. Complete additional content and marketing assignments as needed. Qualifications Experience creating content for social media, a business, or an organization. Strong writing, communication, and proofreading skills. Experience using Canva or similar graphic-design software. Basic photography and video-recording skills. Experience editing photographs and short-form videos. Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Professional, dependable, creative, and respectful. Must protect the privacy and confidentiality of the individuals served by the organization. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with a nonprofit, community organization, school, or human-services program. Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive content practices. A portfolio or examples of previous social media, graphic-design, photography, or video work. Physical and Scheduling Requirements Ability to attend and capture content during scheduled programs and special events. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required. Ability to move around event and program locations while taking photographs or recording videos.

$15.00 per hour
