The Role We're looking for a sharp, curious writer with a journalism background to tell the stories that matter most to Arena•the people, companies, and moments shaping sports, media & entertainment. This isn't a content mill role. You'll do real reporting, conduct interviews with Arena members, and produce editorial work we're genuinely proud of. You'll also translate that work into short-form content for social.
What You'll Work OnInterviewing Arena members and writing longform profiles and feature storiesProducing case studies that show how Arena members are winningWriting journalistic pieces on trends, events, and culture within sports, media & entertainmentAdapting your own stories into punchy captions and short-form copy for Instagram and LinkedInContributing ideas to the editorial calendar•we want your pitches, not just your executionWhat We're Looking ForCurrent undergraduate or graduate student studying journalism, communications, English, or a related fieldStrong reported writing samples•published work (student newspaper, blog, bylines anywhere) is a plusAbility to interview people, find the story, and write it with a real voiceComfortable writing in multiple formats and lengthsSomeone who asks "why does this matter?" before they start writing
