Social Media Content Creator Prinzi Media Burbank, CA Job Details Part-time | Contract $22 - $30 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Visual storytelling Canva Brand storytelling TikTok Instagram Analytics Media editing tools Full Job Description Social Media Content Creator We're looking for a social-first Content Creator who can own the full content process from idea to execution. This role is for someone who understands TikTok, Instagram, Reels, short-form video, trends, hooks, storytelling, filming, and editing — and can move fast when content needs to be created the same day. This person should be comfortable being hands-on, creative, organized, and able to produce content that feels native to social media, not overly polished or corporate. Responsibilities Create, film, and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and other social platforms. Stay up to date with social media trends, sounds, formats, hooks, and viral content styles. Develop content ideas that fit the brand, audience, and current platform trends. Produce quick-turnaround content when needed, including same-day posts or reactive content based on trends, news, or internal needs. Capture behind-the-scenes content, team content, educational content, founder/team personality content, and brand-building videos. Edit videos with strong pacing, captions, cuts, music, text overlays, and platform-native style. Work with the marketing team to turn ideas, campaigns, and business goals into engaging social content. Help plan and organize a consistent content calendar while still being flexible enough to move quickly. Understand what makes content perform on TikTok and Instagram, including hooks, retention, shareability, and visual storytelling. Repurpose content across platforms while adjusting it to fit each channel properly. Requirements Proven experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, Reels, and other short-form platforms. Strong filming and editing skills. Ability to shoot content on a phone, camera, or basic production setup. Experience editing with tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of social media trends and how to apply them to a brand. Ability to move fast and produce quality content under tight timelines. Comfortable working independently and bringing new ideas to the table. Strong eye for storytelling, pacing, visuals, and social-first creative. Organized enough to manage multiple content ideas, shoots, edits, and deadlines. Must be comfortable taking feedback and making edits quickly. Ideal Candidate You don't just "post on social." You understand how content works. You know what makes someone stop scrolling, what makes a video feel native to TikTok or Instagram, and how to create content that feels timely, engaging, and real. You should be someone who can come up with ideas, film them, edit them, and get them ready to post without needing a large production team. We need someone who can move fast, think creatively, and help build a strong social presence through consistent, high-quality content. Nice to Have Experience creating content for a professional service, law firm, agency, local business, or founder-led brand. Comfortable interviewing people on camera or helping direct non-creators during filming. Basic understanding of analytics and how to use performance data to improve future content. Experience creating both educational and personality-driven content.
