IMPORTANT:

A professional food-videography portfolio is required. We will review your food portfolio before your résumé. Applicants without proven restaurant or food-videography experience will not be considered. Anthony's New York Italian is seeking an experienced freelance food videographer and social media content creator to produce premium content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. We need someone who knows how to properly light, film, and edit food so it looks fresh, upscale, and irresistible. Our content will feature handmade pasta, New York-style pizza, prime steaks, seafood, cocktails, desserts, brunch, live music, chefs, and the overall dining experience. Required Experience Minimum two years of professional food or restaurant videography experience A strong portfolio featuring food, restaurants, chefs, cocktails, or hospitality Applicants must provide direct links to food videos they personally filmed and edited Experience creating high-performing Instagram Reels and TikTok videos Strong knowledge of food lighting, composition, close-up filming, motion, and editing Must own professional camera, lighting, audio, and editing equipment Must be based in Houston and available for regular on-site shoots Responsibilities Visit the restaurant approximately one to two times per week to film content Produce high-quality short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts Capture professional food, cocktail, restaurant, chef, and lifestyle photography Film food preparation, plating, cheese pulls, pasta making, steak carving, cocktail preparation, and guest experiences Edit videos with strong hooks, music, captions, transitions, and professional color correction Create content promoting our menu, happy hour, brunch, live music, specials, and private events Develop a monthly content calendar and creative video ideas Write engaging captions and prepare content for posting Deliver finished content within agreed deadlines Review performance and recommend ways to increase reach, engagement, and reservations Maintain a polished, upscale New York-Italian brand image This Position Is Not for Beginners We are looking for an experienced food-content professional. General wedding, real estate, corporate, or lifestyle videography does not qualify unless your portfolio also demonstrates strong restaurant and food work. Schedule This is an ongoing freelance position, not a one-time project. Some shoots may take place during lunch, dinner, brunch, evenings, weekends, or special events. Compensation Competitive project rate or monthly freelance retainer based on experience, portfolio quality, shoot frequency, and agreed deliverables.
