Job Description
SIC is a growing, minority- and woman-owned company specializing in innovative cooling apparel and cooling products (SHAKEitCOOL Towels) designed for anyone working or spending time in the heat. We are a small, collaborative team with big growth goals. You'll work directly alongside our owner, graphic designer, and Outside Sales Director, who is focused on expanding sales, partnerships, and new business opportunities. As our sales and customer base grow, we're looking for an organized, dependable, and creative person who can help keep the day-to-day business running smoothly while also helping us grow our digital presence. The Role This position will oversee a mix of e-commerce operations, customer service, inventory, order fulfillment, office organization, and digital marketing. This is a hands-on role where priorities will shift throughout the year. During busy sales periods, your focus may be customer orders, inventory, shipments, and communication. During slower seasons, more of your time will shift toward marketing, social media, content creation, and projects that help generate future sales. We are looking for someone who enjoys that variety and is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing small business. Key Responsibilities E-Commerce & Customer Service Monitor and respond to customer service emails and phone calls in a timely, professional manner Document customer questions, issues, resolutions, returns, and follow-ups Help manage online orders from purchase through fulfillment Communicate with customers regarding order status, product questions, customization, shipping, and other needs Maintain organized customer and order records Identify recurring customer questions or issues and help improve our processes Inventory, Shipping & Office Operations Manage and maintain accurate inventory counts Receive, organize, and document incoming inventory Prepare, pack, and process daily customer and business shipments Coordinate shipping documentation, labels, tracking, and order records Keep products, samples, supplies, and office materials organized Help monitor inventory needs and communicate when products need to be reordered Assist with general administrative and office responsibilities as needed Marketing & Social Media Help manage SHAKEitCOOL's Instagram and Facebook presence Film and photograph engaging product and lifestyle content Create and schedule regular social media posts, Reels, Stories, and other content Work with our graphic designer to coordinate branded marketing materials and campaigns Turn customer testimonials, events, new partnerships, and product use cases into marketing content Help develop promotions and campaigns that support the sales team's efforts Maintain an organized content calendar and plan content ahead of schedule During slower operational periods, take greater ownership of marketing projects designed to increase brand awareness, engagement, and future sales Experience in e-commerce, social media, customer service, retail operations, office management, inventory management, or marketing is preferred.
