  • Position Summary...
  • The Senior Manager, Finance supports Marketplace growth across Seller Fulfillment, Cross-Border Trade, and Local Marketplace by owning key financial workstreams and partnering closely with the business.
The role leads financial analysis, data-driven insights, business case development, and decision support through performance evaluation, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and clear, actionable recommendations. The Senior Manager is expected to operate with a high degree of ownership within aligned priorities, structure ambiguous business questions, identify key performance drivers, surface risks and opportunities early, and bring forward fact-based points of view to support business strategy and leadership decisions. About the Team The Marketplace Finance team partners closely with Walmart Fulfillment Services and Seller Fulfillment Services to support profitable growth in a dynamic environment. Positioned at the crossroads of eCommerce, supply chain, operations, and finance, the team delivers critical financial insights and leadership to drive seller growth, network expansion, and shipping efficiency. Leveraging financial planning, analysis, risk management, and advanced analytics, the team enables informed business decisions. Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration are central to shaping the future of Walmart Marketplace and advancing its strategic objectives.
  • What you'll do...
  • + Lead business unit FP&A activities across close, forecast, AOP, and LRP, ensuring key assumptions and business drivers are reflected.
+ Own financial models, business cases, scenarios, and management P&Ls for strategic decisions and new opportunities. + Translate financial and operational performance into clear recommendations, trade-offs, and decision options. + Lead assigned workstreams, structure ambiguous problems, and drive cross-functional execution. + Proactively surface risks and opportunities, improve reporting and analytics, and leverage automation and AI. + Continuously raise accountability and analytical standards.

  • + Solid financial planning, analytics, modeling, and variance analysis expertise, with the ability to connect financial outcomes to strategic business drivers and shape decision-making.
+ Demonstrated ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems, develop scenarios and business cases, and provide clear, actionable recommendations. + Strong ownership and judgment, with a track record of independently leading complex, cross-functional workstreams and driving outcomes. + Strong analytical rigor and learning agility, with the ability to challenge assumptions, identify root causes, and quickly build expertise in new businesses. + Proven leadership capability in developing talent, influencing senior stakeholders, and translating complex analysis into concise, decision-oriented insights.
