Job Description

Business Systems / Machinery & ERP Specialist Sportex Apparel of Arizona, Inc Tempe, AZ Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Research High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Business Systems / Machinery & ERP Specialist Safety & Promotional Marketing Company • Tempe, AZ • On-site About us We are a Tempe-based Safety & Promotional Marketing Company located just west of Downtown Tempe and ASU. We're an exciting, fast-paced company, and we're expanding fast. As a large manufacturer and decorator of promotional and safety products, we run high volumes of orders daily across multiple channels and need someone who can keep the systems behind that operation running smoothly - and continuously make them better. This is a flexible, professional, and laid-back environment with hands-on exposure to business operations, e-commerce, manufacturing workflows, and marketing technology - added business education built right into the job. The role We're looking for a hybrid technical problem-solver to administer, develop, and improve our NetSuite ERP/CRM platform and the systems connected to it - Magento, Celigo, and the production machinery on our floor. The ideal candidate is a self-driven learner who gets energized by figuring out what nobody else has figured out yet, and who genuinely enjoys turning that knowledge into documentation and training for the rest of the team. Key responsibilities NetSuite administration & development Serve as the primary admin and developer for NetSuite, used as both our CRM and ERP. Build and maintain saved searches, workflows, custom records, SuiteScript, forms, dashboards, and reports. Translate business requirements into scalable solutions, and manage user access, roles, permissions, and data integrity. Magento & Celigo integrations Own the integration layer between NetSuite and Magento - product data, inventory, customers, and orders. Administer and develop within Celigo (integrator.io), including building, monitoring, and troubleshooting flows. Diagnose errors at the root and implement durable fixes rather than one-time patches. Developer collaboration & system improvement Work directly with internal and external developers to scope, design, and deliver enhancements to NetSuite and connected systems. Provide technical requirements, review work, and continuously identify opportunities to streamline, automate, or re-architect parts of the system to improve performance and user experience. Hands-on troubleshooting (including unknown machinery) Investigate and resolve issues on production machinery, equipment, and connected systems as they come up - even unfamiliar ones.
Approach unknown problems methodically:
research, test, escalate when appropriate, and document the resolution so the next person isn't starting from zero. Documentation, guides & training Create clear, accessible internal documentation, SOPs, and how-to guides covering NetSuite processes, integrations, and recurring fixes. Train end users on system functionality, new features, and best practices. Be the resource people come to with system questions and walk away with both an answer and an understanding. Continuous learning & problem solving Take ownership of problems that don't have a known answer. Do the research, testing, and outreach (vendors, community forums, support, documentation) needed to solve them. Stay current on NetSuite, Magento, and Celigo releases and share what you learn proactively with the team. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, required Web application or eCommerce experience Proficiency in English Strong oral communication skills Strong written communication skills (especially for writing professional emails and documentation) Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new platforms quickly Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail Self-starter who can manage their own time and priorities Nice to have (not required) Exposure to NetSuite, Magento, Celigo, or any ERP/CRM platform Basic scripting or coding experience (JavaScript, SuiteScript, SQL, etc.) Experience writing technical documentation or training materials Background in manufacturing, promotional products, or e-commerce Physical & work requirements Must be able to lift 30 lb boxes when necessary Must be legally able to work in the United States On-site role at our Tempe office Important note This job can be very fast paced. You must be able to work under pressure and handle ever-changing deadlines. Why this role is exciting Our client base is both local and national, giving you great exposure and real learning opportunities for growth and advancement. You'll touch every system that keeps the business running, work alongside developers, and shape how our technology evolves. This is a
