Title Social Media Manager ◈ Ecommerce and General Operations AssistantPosition Summary The Social Media Manager and Ecommerce Assistant will support the daily operations of ARC's ecommerce stores and manage digital social media marketing channels. Working directly under the Ecommerce & Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for executing day-to-day ecommerce tasks, maintaining online storefronts, assisting with content production, managing social media execution, and helping ensure a consistent customer experience across all online platforms. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, motivated, creative, trend focused, detail-oriented, and excited to work in the fashion and vintage apparel industry. Hire will help maintain the operational side of ecommerce while contributing to the continued growth and improvement of ARC's online presence across multiple platforms. This is not a simple administrative position. It is an opportunity to become an integral part of a growing business and develop expertise across ecommerce, digital marketing, customer experience, and operational systems. Primary Responsibilities Ecommerce Operations - Primary Day to Day Operator Create and publish new products across Shopify, Faire Marketplace, and Urban Marketplace Build and maintain Product Detail Pages (PDPs) and inventory flat files Upload and organize product imagery Update inventory quantities and assist with inventory synchronization across platforms Perform routine ecommerce maintenance and quality checks Monitor product listings for accuracy and consistency Report marketplace issues or technical errors for review Help improve the efficiency and scalability of ARC's digital operations Manage email marketing campaigns and automations Execute established processes, maintain operational consistency, and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement Social Media Management Schedule and publish content across social media platforms according to an organized content calendar Lead weekly meetings with management to ensure consistent flow and posting on all platforms with guidance provided for creative concepts, campaign direction, and brand identity Monitor comments, direct messages, and community engagement Respond to customer inquiries following established brand guidelines Assist in growing social media audiences across existing and emerging platforms Monitor platform trends and recommend new content ideas Track social media performance and prepare basic analytics reports Grow into and expand other channels (tik tok, youtube, etc.) Content Production Plan and execute social media growth strategy (original content creation ideas and execution while maintaining current content creation strategies) Assist with ecommerce photoshoot preparation and setup Capture leading and supporting photo and video content as directed Organize digital assets and maintain media libraries Assist with basic image editing, resizing, exporting, and file management Create supplemental content including B-roll, behind-the-scenes footage, and supporting imagery Research current fashion, ecommerce, and social media trends to ensure relevance among all platforms Product Processing, Merchandising & Inventory Help prepare products for photography (sorting, steaming, hanging, organizing) Assist with product SKU organization and physical inventory management Organize products before and after photoshoots Help maintain physical organization and merchandising within the ecommerce and retail inventory area Assist with weekly inventory audits and cross-platform inventory verification Customer Service Respond to and assist with routine customer inquiries through Shopify, Faire Marketplace, Instagram, and other channels. Assist customer service agent with shipping updates, tracking information, returns, and exchanges Coordinate with fulfillment staff regarding customer requests Escalate complex customer concerns, custom orders, or high-priority accounts to the Ecommerce & Operations Manager Maintain exceptional customer relationships as a core value Success in This Role The Ecommerce Assistant & Social Media Manager will help ensure: Accurate and timely product launches Consistent online merchandising Well-maintained ecommerce platforms Organized digital assets Regular social media activity and content creation Excellent customer communication Efficient inventory maintenance Strong support for ongoing marketing initiatives Open to growth and opportunity within the company Skills & Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills Knowledge of social media platforms and a drive for creative, original, and relevant content Motivated with a creative drive and open to taking initiative Excellent written communication and customer service skills Interest in fashion, vintage clothing, and ecommerce Comfortable learning multiple ecommerce platforms Basic photography, photo editing, or content creation experience preferred Familiarity with Shopify, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar software is a plus Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the Ecommerce & Operations Manager and works closely with the warehouse and online fulfillment team. The Social Media Manager and Ecommerce Assistant is responsible for executing daily operational tasks in tandem with the strategic direction established by the Ecommerce & Operations Manager. As experience grows, this role will have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the continued growth of ARC's ecommerce business. This role is intended to grow alongside the business. As ARC expands its ecommerce business, customer experience, and future retail concepts, this position will continue to assume increasing levels of ownership and responsibility. New platform buildouts may also become commission opportunities. Success in this role will be measured not only by daily execution, but by the ability to improve systems, support team growth, and contribute to ARC's long-term vision of becoming a modern, scalable retail and ecommerce organization. Pay Rate and Work Expectancy $23- $25 an hour depending on experience and availability.
