full-time 2 Peaks Bikes is growing, and we are looking for a Bike Shop Associate to support the day-to-day operation of our Los Angeles store. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who is motivated, organized, comfortable working with customers, and eager to learn different sides of a growing retail business. The role sits across customer service, sales, merchandising, e-commerce, order fulfillment and general store operations . You do not need to be an expert in every area from day one. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, takes initiative and follows through on what needs to get done. Cycling experience is a strong plus, but curiosity, reliability and work ethic are equally important. What You'll Do Welcome customers and help create a professional, approachable in-store experience. Assist customers with bicycle, apparel and accessory selection. Learn our products and help customers understand different options based on their needs and riding style. Process sales, customer orders and payments. Support online orders, including picking, packing and preparing products for shipment or customer pickup. Receive inventory and help organize and merchandise products throughout the store. Help maintain accurate product information, pricing and inventory across our point-of-sale and e-commerce systems. Assist with basic e-commerce activities such as product listings, images, descriptions and inventory updates. Support store marketing activities, promotions, events and community rides. Help keep the sales floor, displays and customer areas organized and presentation-ready. Work closely with the store team to identify tasks that need attention and help get them completed. What We're Looking For Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or another customer-facing environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable learning new products, systems and processes. Organized and attentive to details. Reliable and able to follow through on assigned responsibilities. Comfortable working independently once trained. Willingness to jump between different types of tasks during the day. Familiarity with bicycles, outdoor sports or sporting goods is preferred. Cycling experience is a plus, but not required. The Person Who Will Do Well Here You may be early in your career, but you are someone who likes being productive. You notice when something needs to be done and are comfortable taking action. You can interact professionally with customers while also handling the less glamorous parts of retail-organizing inventory, packing orders, updating products, checking pricing or improving a display.
