Our business is looking for a full-time showroom assistant to share their talents and personality with a dedicated team who strive for excellence in customer service, and helping clients fulfill their remodeling dreams. This person must be personable, and outgoing. Duties consist of answering phones, addressing general e-mails, greeting clients, directing clients to the appropriate specifier or designer, maintaining the resource library and helping to keep the showroom organized. This position requires a prompt, organized individual that is comfortable with computer use and able to multi-task in a busy and active environment. An interest in interior design - specifically kitchens and bathrooms - is a plus.
Requirements:
Enthusiastic attitude Self-motivated Creative problem solver Excellent people skills Sales or customer service experience, some industry experience a plus Excellent verbal and written skills Computer literate: Outlook, QuickBooks, MS Office, etc.
Duties & Tasks:
Cheerfully greet clients Answer phone calls; check general voice mailbox Screening clients to determine best person to assist them, fill out Client Record when salespeople are busy. Showroom organization and product labels/signs Assist sales team with sales orders and proposals Sales support for client follow up - delivery logistics, order tracking, appointments (setting, confirmations), vendor price/stock checks Resource library maintenance Maintain Showroom Bible Sample organization and inventory Learn product basics - technical, materials and finishes Attend staff meetings and product knowledge clinics Other related duties as assigned This is a full-time position and may require Saturday hours.
Compensation:
$20/hour
Schedule:
Showroom hours are 10 - 5 Monday through Friday Occasional early morning staff meetings and vendor meetings may be required Reports to:
Operations Manager Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
