This is a player-coach role:
the person is expected to sell, build business, manage key commercial relationships, monitor performance, and increasingly coordinate others as the operation grows. The role is intentionally positioned to give a high-potential commercial professional meaningful ownership and a path into formal management. The successful candidate should be comfortable operating with autonomy, identifying what needs to be done, and personally stepping into sales execution when results require it. What This Role Owns- U.S. revenue performance across B2B, wholesale, retail, professional and digital channels.
- New business development: prospecting, pitching, negotiating and closing accounts directly.
- Performance and development of existing distributors, retailers, and key commercial partners.
- Commercial oversight of e-commerce partners, including Amazon partners operating under a wholesale/distributor model.
- Commercial planning, forecasting, pricing, margins, promotional investment and performance KPIs.
- Cross-functional coordination with Marketing, E-commerce, Operations, Logistics, and Finance.
- Increasing coordination, coaching and eventual supervision of U.S. commercial team members as the business expands. Key Responsibilities 1. Revenue Growth & Direct Selling
- Carry direct responsibility for helping achieve U.S. revenue targets and remain personally active in selling.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of distributors, retailers, pharmacy groups, medical/aesthetic practices, salons, professional accounts and other strategic partners.
- Research prospects, identify decision-makers, initiate outreach, conduct presentations, prepare proposals, negotiate terms and close business.
- Develop existing accounts through increased distribution, additional products, larger orders, cross-selling and improved sell-through.
- Step into opportunities personally when the team or channel is behind plan; this role is not limited to supervising sales activity. 2. U.S. Commercial Ownership
- Serve as a central point of commercial ownership for the U.S. operation, maintaining visibility across channels and identifying where action is required.
- Translate company growth objectives into practical account plans, commercial priorities and sales initiatives.
- Track weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance against targets and proactively recommend corrective actions.
- Understand and monitor revenue, gross margin, pricing, promotional spend, customer performance and other commercial KPIs.
- Bring solutions and recommendations to leadership rather than simply escalating problems. 3. E-Commerce & Amazon Commercial Oversight
- Own the commercial relationship with third-party e-commerce and Amazon partners that purchase and resell Pharcomed products.
- Lead recurring business reviews with those partners and challenge performance against agreed forecasts, purchase plans and growth objectives.
- Review sales trends, partner purchases, inventory, advertising and promotional investment, return on investment, marketplace performance and growth opportunities
- Work with Marketing and Finance to determine appropriate commercial and advertising investment and evaluate whether that investment is producing the expected results.
- Ensure external partners are accountable for execution, reporting and agreed commercial plans.
- Maintain a consolidated view of digital and traditional channels so e-commerce is managed as part of one U.S. commercial strategy, not as a separate business. 4. Future Direct E-Commerce Expansion
- Support the commercial planning for new product-line launches across Amazon, owned e-commerce and other digital marketplaces.
- Where Pharcomed operates an e-commerce channel directly, define commercial objectives, budgets, forecasts and KPIs in collaboration with the dedicated e-commerce specialist or agency.
- Provide business ownership and performance accountability while the specialist manages platform-level execution such as listings, catalog management, marketplace operations, advertising optimization and day-to-day technical activity.
- Help determine when business scale or complexity requires additional dedicated e-commerce resources. 5. Key Accounts, Retail & Distribution
- Build strong relationships with key U.S. accounts, distributors and strategic partners.
- Monitor customer sales, purchases, inventory and commercial performance and identify issues early.
- Identify new retail, wholesale and professional-channel opportunities and lead commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate launches, promotions and account-development initiatives with internal teams. 6. Commercial Coordination & Emerging Leadership
- Help establish priorities and accountability across U.S. commercial activities, leads and accounts.
- Coordinate closely with Marketing, E-commerce, Operations, Logistics and Finance to ensure commercial plans are executed.
- As the U.S. team expands, take increasing responsibility for coaching, coordinating and eventually supervising commercial team members.
- Lead by example and remain commercially hands-on even as leadership responsibilities increase. 7. Market Intelligence & Growth Opportunities
- Monitor competitors, retailers, distribution models, pricing, promotions and trends in beauty, haircare, skincare, wellness, pharmaceuticals and supplements.
- Identify new products, channels, partnerships and commercial opportunities that can accelerate U.S. growth.
- Regularly bring actionable commercial ideas and recommendations to senior leadership.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, retail, e-commerce or another commercially focused role.
- Demonstrated evidence of generating revenue, developing accounts, closing business or materially contributing to commercial growth.
- Experience in beauty, haircare, skincare, pharmaceuticals, medical aesthetics, consumer health, supplements or related consumer products strongly preferred.
- Comfortable prospecting and initiating new business conversations; not dependent on inbound leads.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially analytical and comfortable reviewing forecasts, sales reports, margins, budgets, investment and KPIs.
- Able to work with external agencies, distributors and marketplace partners and hold them accountable for performance.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple channels and priorities.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
