The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience building, managing, maintaining, and improving e-commerce websites. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in BigCommerce, Shopify, and WooCommerce , as well as advanced knowledge of technical SEO and conversion optimization . Responsibilities Build, manage, and maintain e-commerce websites. Troubleshoot and resolve technical website issues. Improve website speed, performance, security, and mobile usability. Customize themes, templates, product pages, collections, and checkout experiences. Implement and manage third-party apps, APIs, payment gateways, and other integrations. Perform technical SEO audits and implement improvements. Improve site structure, crawlability, indexing, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and page speed. Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and the customer experience. Monitor website performance and proactively resolve problems. Work closely with management on new projects and ongoing website improvements. Qualifications At least 4-5 years of professional e-commerce development experience . Strong experience with one or more major e-commerce platforms. Experience with BigCommerce, Shopify, and WooCommerce is highly preferred . Advanced understanding of technical SEO and e-commerce SEO. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and third-party integrations. Experience with website speed optimization and Core Web Vitals. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently. Understanding of conversion rate optimization and e-commerce best practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple websites and projects. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently. Portfolio or examples of previous e-commerce projects are strongly preferred. Work Arrangement This is a full-time, on-site position in Fort Lauderdale, Florida . Candidates must be able to commute to the office. This is not a remote position.
