Our data lives in a dozen places and none of them agree. We're bringing reporting in-house and need someone to own it end to end. What you'll do Build the pipelines — write ETL that pulls from marketplace, advertising, carrier, and Shopify APIs, plus the messy vendor files that don't have an API, and land it somewhere clean and queryable PPC bidding models — turn ad and sales data into bid recommendations that maximize contribution margin against operating overhead Demand planning and ordering tools — forecasting and reorder logic driving what we buy and where we send it Freight cost auditing — reconcile carrier invoices against our shipment data to catch billing errors, find rate and service-level savings, and flag patterns worth renegotiating Find the story in the data — this isn't a ticket-taking role. When the numbers move, we want you to dig in, figure out why, and bring us the takeaway and the recommendation, not just the chart What we're looking for Strong SQL and Python Experience building ETL pipelines against REST APIs — pagination, rate limits, auth, schema changes, backfills Analyst instincts: you're curious about the business, you question numbers that look wrong, and you can explain a finding to a non-technical owner in plain language Comfortable taking a vague problem and turning it into a working tool. Comfortable shipping internal tools end to end, not just pipelines
