Job Description:

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Sample Specialist (Beauty Products) to support a fast-paced Marketing and Digital Innovation team within a dynamic corporate environment in Bolingbrook, IL . This 7-month contract role is ideal for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy beauty enthusiast who enjoys blending creativity with data and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. The PT Sample Specialist will play a key role in supporting the execution and optimization of a virtual try-on platform, helping bring digital beauty experiences to life. This individual will partner closely with Digital, Merchandising, and Innovation teams to coordinate product samples, support calibration processes, and ensure new products are accurately represented across digital channels.

Job Description:

Product Coordination & Sample Management

• Partner with internal teams to coordinate and track product samples for new launches and digital experiences
• Monitor incoming shipments, track deliveries, and follow up on delayed or missing items
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and prioritize new product launches for digital activation Digital Calibration & Execution
• Photograph, label, and document product swatches using iOS and macOS tools
• Extract and analyze color data (e.g., hex values) from product swatches using tools such as Photoshop
• Support the setup and entry of product data into calibration tools to ensure accurate virtual representation
• Assist with maintaining quality and consistency across digital try-on experiences Analytics, Testing & Optimization
• Support reporting and analysis of product and category performance within the virtual try-on platform
• Assist with user acceptance testing and validation of new features, enhancements, and digital experiences
• Provide input and recommendations to improve product merchandising and user experience within the tool Digital Tools & Support Functions
• Manage QR code generation, tracking, and troubleshooting for various marketing channels including in-store and print
• Assist with documentation, training materials, and QA processes related to digital discovery tools
• Support campaign execution, including curated looks and product storytelling within the platform Collaboration & Team Support
• Partner closely with Digital Discovery, AR/Innovation, and Merchandising teams to support ongoing initiatives
• Contribute to a collaborative, detail-driven environment focused on delivering engaging digital experiences
• Balance multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy

Must Have Qualifications:

• 1-2+ years of relevant work experience in digital, marketing, beauty, or related fields
• Passion for beauty products with knowledge or familiarity in cosmetics and color application
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for color accuracy and consistency
• Experience working with iOS and macOS platforms
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Point preferred Nice to

Have Qualifications:

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Analytics
• Background or familiarity with color theory
• Exposure to digital merchandising, eCommerce, or virtual try-on technologies
• Experience supporting QA, testing, or digital product launches
• Familiarity with QR code generation, tracking, or digital campaign support
