Scope:
The Ecommerce Specialist is responsible for creating, processing, and picking orders. Additionally, the Ecommerce Specialist is also responsible for transporting Heartland FPG samples between departments and general interoffice mail couriering.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge or ability to learn UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, & other online portals to fulfill order demands Promote safety and conduct him/herself in accordance with all safety guidelines at all times Prepare documents, such as bills of lading, delivery notes/packing list, and or shipping labels Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to enter and process orders Review orders to ensure inventory is accurate Update product location and pick product via R/F scanner Update all outbound orders with freight quotes, using various carriers' websites Prepare international shipping documents Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery Operate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines Able to complete monthly and annual cycle counts and understand and can perform basic inventory control processes/procedures Must be able travel to and from Plant, DC, corporate office, and anywhere else the sample orders are needed All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Shipping or related experience preferred UPS/FedEx/USPS online shipping experience preferred Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications with proficiency in MS Excel Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and exhibit attention to detail Able to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization Possess basic reasoning and problem solving skills Have the ability to work independently and with a team within a fast paced environment Demonstrate and promote teamwork on a consistent basis
Physical Demands:
Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time. Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend Must possess visual acuity to document company records Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center Lifting up to 40 pounds Monday - Friday; 8am to 4:30pm
