Job Description

Help Modernize and Improve a Growing Grocery Retail Operation We are creating a new Retail Technology & Digital Operations Specialist position to help improve and expand our grocery store's digital operations, retail systems, online ordering platforms, promotional execution, and customer engagement. This role is ideal for someone who is: highly comfortable with technology, organized and selfdirected, capable of learning and improving systems, and excited to help build new operational processes in a growing business. You will work directly with platforms including Instacart, NCR Voyix
ENCOR, NCR
Voyix Advanced Back Office (ABO), social media, loyalty systems, and digital promotions to help maximize operational efficiency, customer engagement, and sales growth. Because this is a newly created role, responsibilities and workflows will continue evolving as we identify new opportunities and improvements. What You'll Do Retail Technology & Systems Support and maintain NCR Voyix ENCOR and NCR Voyix Advanced Back Office (ABO) systems Manage pricing updates, promotions, and operational reporting Help improve retail technology workflows and operational efficiency Coordinate with vendors and support teams to troubleshoot operational or system-related issues Identify opportunities to better utilize current systems and technology tools Digital Operations & Online Ordering Manage Instacart and online ordering platforms Maintain digital product listings, pricing, and promotional accuracy Support customer-facing digital ordering experiences Monitor online ordering performance and identify opportunities for improvement Promotions & Customer Engagement Coordinate weekly promotions across: Social media Store website Loyalty/app card systems Instacart Local radio In-store advertising vendors Reporting & Operational Improvement Monitor promotional performance and sales activity Research and recommend new digital tools, promotional strategies, and operational improvements Assist management in developing new workflows and processes for this growing role Help create measurable improvements in customer engagement and sales growth What We're Looking For Required Skills Strong computer and technology skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to change Excellent communication and attention to detail Self-motivated and dependable Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is strongly preferred: Grocery retail operations Retail POS or back-office systems NCR Voyix ENCOR or ABO Instacart or online ordering systems E-commerce platforms Digital marketing or social media management Retail pricing or promotional systems Why This Role Is Different This is not a traditional grocery store position. This role is designed to help modernize and improve how our business operates through technology, digital tools, promotions, and operational improvements. You won't simply maintain systems — you'll help shape how this role grows and evolves over time. We are looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, taking ownership, improving processes, and helping build something new. Introductory 120-Day Trial Period This is a newly created position in an evolving area of our business. The role will begin with a 120-day introductory trial period where responsibilities, workflows, expectations, and performance goals will be developed alongside management. During this period, we will evaluate: ability to learn and maximize current systems independence and problem-solving organization and followthrough comfort working in a new and evolving role impact on digital operations, promotions, and retail technology Successful completion of the introductory period may lead to a long-term permanent position with continued growth opportunities.
