The Shocker Store is looking for a creative, detail-oriented student to help bring our online store to life. If you're interested in photography, marketing, graphic design, e-commerce, or digital content, this is a great opportunity to build your portfolio while working on real projects that reach Shockers everywhere. What You'll Do As part of the Shocker Store team, you'll help keep our online storefront fresh, engaging, and easy to shop by: Photographing new merchandise and editing product images. Uploading products and keeping the online store updated. Writing engaging, informative product descriptions and website content. Helping ensure www.shockerstore.com stays accurate, organized, and visually appealing. Assisting with making web content accessible for all users. Collaborating with our Retail Buyer, Course Materials Manager, Marketing Director, and Director on a variety of creative projects. We're Looking For Someone Who... Loves being creative and pays attention to the details. Enjoys photography and photo editing. Has strong writing and communication skills. Is organized and able to manage multiple projects. Works well independently and as part of a team. Enjoys learning new technology and creative tools. Preferred Experience Don't worry if you haven't done everything—we're looking for students eager to learn! Experience with any of the following is a plus: Photography and photo editing. Graphic design or digital content creation. Website management or e-commerce platforms. Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver). HTML, CSS, or other web design basics. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). A portfolio of photography or creative work is encouraged. What You'll Gain Hands-on experience managing a real e-commerce website. Portfolio-worthy photography, writing, and web design projects. Experience working alongside a professional marketing and retail team. Resume-building skills in digital marketing, content creation, photography, and e-commerce. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed. Comfortable standing, walking, and working on a computer for extended periods. Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and special events. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
