Today, our family-owned company has a worldwide online presence, two state-of-the-art design studios—60,000 square feet in Boston and 12,000 square feet in New York City—and retail shops throughout the Greater Boston area and in Greenwich, Connecticut. Each and every person on our team works in pursuit of a singular goal: to take care of our clients' precious moments as if they were our own. Winston Flowers is seeking an eCommerce Merchandiser & Media Manager to lead and execute the digital growth strategy for our direct-to-consumer business. This role sits at the intersection of eCommerce, performance marketing, merchandising, and analytics, and will be responsible for driving revenue growth through a best-in-class digital experience. This is a strategic and hands-on role. The ideal candidate is both a digital commerce strategist and a site operator—someone who can analyze performance data, develop actionable insights, and execute initiatives that improve acquisition, conversion, and retention. The eCommerce Merchandiser & Media Manager will serve as the company's subject matter expert on digital commerce and performance marketing, working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and CRM teams to ensure the digital experience reflects customer needs and drives business growth. Key Responsibilities eCommerce Strategy & Site Performance
  • Own the overall eCommerce strategy and performance for WinstonFlowers.com.
  • Identify opportunities to improve traffic, conversion rate, average order value, and repeat purchase behavior.
  • Be comfortable navigating and optimizing a legacy eCommerce platform, adapting strategies to work within existing system constraints.
  • Manage site merchandising, ensuring the right products, categories, and promotions are featured to drive sales and seasonal demand.
  • Continuously optimize the customer journey and onsite experience using behavioral and performance data.
  • Partner with product and merchandising teams to ensure the digital assortment and storytelling align with customer demand. Digital Media & Marketing Strategy
  • Develop and manage the digital media strategy across paid channels including search, social, display, and emerging acquisition platforms.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the digital media agency, ensuring campaigns align with business goals and deliver strong ROI.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust budgets, targeting, and creative direction to maximize revenue and efficiency. Analytics, Insights & Reporting
  • Lead digital performance analysis using GA4, Microsoft Clarity, and Looker Studio dashboards.
  • Translate data into actionable insights that inform marketing, merchandising, and product strategy.
  • Develop and maintain regular reporting on traffic, conversion, media performance, and revenue trends.
  • Identify opportunities for experimentation, testing, and optimization across the site and marketing programs. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with the CRM Manager to develop strategies that improve customer retention, repeat purchase, and lifetime value.
  • Work collaboratively with product, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure digital insights inform product development, assortment planning, and campaign strategy.
  • Provide ongoing feedback on customer behavior and market trends to help shape business decisions. Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or performance marketing.
  • Proven experience managing direct-to-consumer eCommerce businesses.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing channels such as paid search, paid social, and display.
  • Experience managing or collaborating with digital media agencies.
  • Advanced experience with GA4 and digital analytics tools.
  • Experience using Looker Studio or similar dashboard/reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with behavioral analytics tools such as Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with site merchandising and conversion optimization.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work across marketing, product, and technology teams. What Success Looks Like
  • Increased eCommerce revenue and conversion rate.
  • Improved efficiency and ROI of digital media spend.
  • Strong alignment between product, marketing, and the digital experience.
  • Actionable insights that drive smarter business decisions.
  • A seamless digital experience that reflects the quality and brand standards of Winston Flowers.
