kiddywampus is seeking an organized, technically skilled Operations Specialist to help keep inventory, systems and sales channels running smoothly. This position has a strong focus on Shopify administration, reporting, e-commerce and improving operational processes.
Key Responsibilities Shopify administration:
Navigate and maintain Shopify's operational tools, including inventory, orders, sales channels, user roles, permissions and apps. Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with support providers as needed.
Reporting and analysis:
Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, margins and sales channel performance. Identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities, and provide clear recommendations to the owner.
Inventory operations:
Monitor receiving, inventory transfers, corrections and reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory records.
Channel strategy:
Help execute the company's sales channel strategy through accurate inventory availability, coordinated promotions, fulfillment processes and performance tracking.
E-commerce and fulfillment:
Support online order workflows, including pickup, shipping, order accuracy and timely fulfillment.
Data and category structure:
Assist with data migration, imports, exports and cleanup. Maintain consistent product categories and organization to support accurate reporting and effective selling.
App integrations:
Navigate and troubleshoot Shopify app integrations, including the loyalty program. Help ensure connected systems work reliably and staff understand relevant workflows.
Procedures and training:
Document and improve procedures for receiving, inventory transfers, inventory corrections and online order fulfillment. Develop clear procedures for executing promotions and other sales channel initiatives, and train relevant staff.
Team coordination:
Work with the owner and relevant team members to resolve operational issues, communicate changes and follow through on priorities. Qualifications Strong hands-on Shopify experience, including administrative functions, reporting, roles, permissions, apps and integrations. Experience with retail inventory operations and e-commerce workflows. Comfortable working with spreadsheets, analyzing reports and checking data for accuracy. Experience with data migration and product category structure. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to troubleshoot problems, explain processes clearly and manage competing priorities.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 38.0 per week
