Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented E-Commerce Operations Intern to support our sales and inventory operations. This internship is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, organized, tech-savvy, and familiar with online marketplaces such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Amazon, or similar platforms. The intern will assist with organizing laboratory and warehouse instrumentation, researching resale value and market demand, creating online listings, and supporting the overall sales process from inventory management through shipment coordination. This role offers hands-on exposure to e-commerce operations, online selling strategy, inventory management, and business operations within a fast-paced healthcare/laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities Inventory & Warehouse Operations Organize laboratory instrumentation, equipment, and inventory within the warehouse Catalog and track items available for resale or liquidation Assist with identifying surplus, unused, or retired equipment suitable for online sale Maintain clean and organized inventory records and storage areas E-Commerce & Marketplace Support Research market pricing, demand, and comparable listings across online marketplaces Create and manage product listings on platforms such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and other resale channels Write clear and accurate product descriptions and specifications Photograph equipment and products for online listings Monitor listing performance and recommend pricing or listing adjustments Assist with responding to marketplace inquiries and coordinating sales Shipping & Logistics Coordinate packaging and shipment preparation for sold items Maintain shipping records and tracking information Assist with inventory reconciliation and item status updates Business & Operational Support Identify opportunities to improve online sales processes and organization Assist leadership with special projects related to e-commerce and operational efficiency Learn and apply best practices related to online selling, customer communication, and inventory control
