Job Description

CLASSIFICATION PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the Business Operations Specialist classification is to be responsible for implementing programs that meet office goals and objectives and to provide daily support and quality control to all Auto Title branches and main office operations.
JOB DUTIES
Works with Director of Auto Title to implement programs and business strategies that meet office goals and objectives. Provides guidance and training to division management, staff for onboarding, continuing education, and specific projects. Researches, analyzes and troubleshoots statistical data, daily workflows and office procedures and provides recommendations for improvement. Performs operational level assessments on operations to ensure compliance to best practices and/or applicable laws. Provides assistance and support to all Auto Title branches to ensure the timely processing of transactions and to complete daily tasks. Prepares technical reports and provides regular status updates to Director of Auto Title. Partners with auto dealers, financial institutions, vendors and in-house staff on business priorities and resolution of problems including but not limited to Deal Portal and Auto Title Now application. Supports the management of business services, web portal, and mobile applications. Manages special projects and assignments, as directed. Backs-up Auto Title management, as assigned. Maintains regular and predictable attendance. These duties are illustrative only and you may perform some or all of these duties or other job-related duties as assigned.

Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral or picture form; deal with problems involving several variables in familiar context; apply principles to solve practice, everyday problems; define problems, collect data, establish facts & draw valid conclusions; comprehend & record figures accurately; copy records precisely without error; complete routine forms; maintain accurate records; prepare meaningful, concise & accurate reports; gather, collate & classify information about data, people or things; handle sensitive inquiries from & contacts with officials & general public; resolve complaints from angry citizens & government officials.
MINIMUM CLASS QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT
Associate degree in business or related field with one (1) year of customer service or public relations experience, or related experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Additional Requirements Must maintain a valid Ohio driver's license. Supervisory Responsibilities None required.
UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS
This is an unclassified position that serves at the pleasure of the Clerk of Courts. May be required to travel.
