Description Your Role:
The UK Assistant Merchant supports the volume and growth expectations of the UK omnichannel business through comprehensive management and maintenance of assortment/buying systems and facilitates digital strategy execution.
Your Impact:
Supports Merchandising team by being the subject matter expert in areas including, but not limited to: system utilization, data entry, and SKU/order management Builds relationships with international and digital counterparts to facilitate exchange of information, best practices, and assortment strategy updates Actively contributes to product selection conversations with both qualitative and quantitative based opinions Manages assortment data in the assortment tool, tracks changes and maintains accuracy throughout milestones to ensure deliverables are met Drives accuracy of product delivery through excellent executions, timely, cross-functional communication, and management of documentation Assists with design and production coordination Collaborates with cross-functional partners to ensure raw material commitments are provided Prepares final orders Serves as the main contact for supplier communication Consistently demonstrates open mindedness and problem-solving skills Additional growth opportunities into other responsibilities and areas of interest (patterning, testing, assortment analysis) Click here for benefit details related to this position.
Minimum Salary:
$66,700.00
Maximum Salary:
$85,785.00 VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications Your Experience:
Bachelor's Degree Retail store experience preferred in some capacity Experience in multi-category management, MP&A, or buying preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to adjust for a global audience Observant with particular attention to product details and numbers Strategic thinking and problem solving Passion for delivering results while maintaining flexibility Proficiency in Excel required Proactive and solution oriented Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze and understand quantitative data Strong prioritization skills We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest records, conviction records, or other criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of any applicable state and local laws.
