E-Commerce Manager Job Summary The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for overseeing and growing the company's online sales channels by optimizing website performance, digital merchandising, customer experience, and online operations. This role collaborates across departments to increase revenue, improve profitability, and deliver an exceptional online shopping experience. Key ResponsibilitiesE-Commerce & Website Management Develop and execute strategies to increase online sales and customer retention. Manage the e-commerce platform, ensuring website functionality, speed, security, and mobile optimization. Coordinate website updates, product launches, and promotional campaigns. Work with developers to resolve technical issues and improve site performance. Product & Digital Merchandising Manage product listings, pricing, promotions, inventory visibility, and product content. Optimize product pages, images, and category organization to improve conversions. Ensure product information is accurate across all online channels. Marketing Collaboration Partner with the Marketing team to: Support SEO, SEM, email marketing, paid advertising, and social commerce initiatives. Increase website traffic, customer engagement, and online conversions. Analytics & Performance Monitor key metrics including online revenue, conversion rate, Average Order Value (AOV), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), and cart abandonment. Prepare performance reports and recommend improvements based on data. Customer Experience & Operations Improve the online shopping experience through better navigation, checkout, and usability. Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Warehouse, IT, and Finance to ensure efficient operations. Support inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, returns, and compliance with company policies. Budget Management Manage e-commerce budgets, platform expenses, and digital marketing investments. Evaluate ROI and recommend cost-effective growth opportunities. QualificationsEducation Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, or a related field preferred. Experience 5+ years of e-commerce management experience. Experience with B2B, B2C, or omnichannel retail preferred. Marketplace experience (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) is a plus. Technical Skills Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or similar platforms. Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Excel. SEO/SEM, CRM, CMS, email marketing platforms. Basic
