Job Description

Amazon & Marketplace Operations Specialist 3236 California Street NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418 Hybrid work $55,000
  • $65,000 a year
  • Full-time $55,000
  • $65,000 a year
  • Full-time Company Overview Versare is a Minneapolis-based specialty manufacturer of modular partitions, walls, and temporary space dividers with approximately $40 million in annual revenue.
The Amazon and marketplace channel represents roughly $7 million of that and is a strategic growth priority — which means the person running it matters and their work shows up directly in business results. Position Summary The Amazon & Marketplace Operations Specialist is a hands-on operator responsible for the day-to-day performance of Versare's Amazon and marketplace channels, reporting directly to the Director of eCommerce, Amazon, and Marketplaces. This person owns catalog management, pricing, advertising support, fulfillment coordination, and performance reporting across Seller Central, Vendor Central, and other active marketplaces. Success in year one means measurable improvement in contribution margin, stronger listing quality, and reliable in-stock performance across key SKUs.
Core Responsibilities Catalog & Content:
Manage and maintain product listings across Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, and other marketplaces — including titles, bullet points, descriptions, attributes, variations, and images. Coordinate A+ Content updates with marketing and agency partners. Audit listing health and resolve suppressed listings, policy violations, and attribute errors.
Pricing & Reporting:
Execute pricing updates, promotional configurations, and competitive adjustments as directed. Monitor channel performance metrics — revenue, contribution margin, sell-through, ACoS, and inventory health — and produce regular reports for the Director that translate data into clear takeaways.
Advertising:
Support management of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns in coordination with an external agency, monitoring performance against budget and efficiency targets. Flag high-margin SKUs for increased investment and underperforming ASINs pulling budget.
Logistics & Operations:
Coordinate with operations on replenishment, purchase order timing, and inventory positioning to maintain in-stock rates across 1P and 3P fulfillment models. Lead or support FBA shipment preparation and Vendor Central compliance projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with operations, marketing, and sales on new product launches, promotional events, and segment-specific initiatives. Identify and surface channel growth opportunities — including ASIN expansion, assortment gaps, and deal events such as Prime Day — to the Director. Qualifications Required Qualifications 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, or both — direct platform ownership of listings, catalog, or reporting, not general digital marketing experience Demonstrated ability to manage product catalogs at scale across multiple ASINs with a high degree of accuracy Analytical enough to draw conclusions from Amazon performance data, not just pull reports Clear written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, external agency partners, and summarizing performance for a non-technical audience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Supply Chain, eCommerce, or equivalent professional experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with Walmart Marketplace or other third-party marketplaces Hands-on experience in Amazon Advertising Console managing or monitoring sponsored campaigns Background in manufacturing, physical products, or supply chain environments Familiarity with third-party Amazon tools such as Helium 10, DataHawk, or Pacvue Prior ERP exposure — NetSuite is the system of record here; full training provided What We Offer Salary range: $55-65,000 Hybrid work arrangement based in Minneapolis Competitive base salary commensurate with 1-3 years of Amazon platform experience 5% annual performance bonus opportunity tied to individual and business results High ownership and visibility in a lean organization where your work directly shapes channel outcomes Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)
