Contract assignment through February with potential for extension based on business needs About the Opportunity We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join a growing e-commerce team supporting customers across the United States. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and delivering a positive customer experience through phone, email, and chat interactions. The office offers a collaborative team environment, modern workspace, paid parking, and a pet-friendly atmosphere. Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone

Provide order status updates and assist customers with purchases

Answer product and website-related questions

Resolve customer concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy

Track shipments and communicate with shipping carriers

Process returns, issue refunds, and provide shipping labels

Document customer interactions and resolutions within company systems

Collaborate with team members to identify trends and process improvements

Support additional customer service and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

Previous business-to-consumer (B2C) customer service experience required

E-commerce customer service experience preferred

Experience with ticketing platforms such as Zendesk is a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable learning and communicating product information

Comfortable working in a pet-friendly office environment
